Plain terms for roofing work.
These terms cover roofing work by Gilbert Roofing Inc. They are written to be read.
An estimate is based on what can be seen before tear-off. Roofs hide their decking: rot, delaminated sheathing and old repairs only show once the covering is up. When we find them, we stop, show you the area, and price the repair before covering it — the change is agreed before the work continues, never after.
We do not open more roof than we can dry-in the same day, and monsoon forecasts can move a schedule. A day lost to weather protects your house; we would rather slip a date than gamble an open deck against an afternoon storm.
Tear-off is dirty work: nails, tile shards, old felt. We tarp landscaping, magnet-sweep the drive and walk the finished job with you before the truck leaves. Debris leaves with us.
Payment terms are agreed before work starts and written into the scope. If the scope changes mid-job — hidden decking is the usual reason — the change is priced and agreed before the work continues.
We may photograph finished work for this website. Photos show the roof — never your address, never anything that identifies you. Tell us if you would rather we did not.
